10 Random Facts

I thought I would share some random things about me.  Hope you like!

  1. I love Hot Chocolate all year 'round.  I can use one of those huge cans from Sam's Club all my myself and run out before Christmas.  In fact, I'm out now and really need some more.
  2. I love to read.  And when I start a book, if it's good, I can't focus on anything til it's done.
  3. I love to crochet.  My friend taught me in 8th grade.
  4. I learned how to crochet a sweater for my babies in one night.
  5. I can do what I call a "Helium" voice.
  6. My husband Tyson was my first date, first kiss, first one to hold my hand and the first boy to give me flowers.
  7. When I was little, I wanted to be a mom and have twins.  Check and Check.
  8. I was Secretary of my High School's Dance Company as a junior and was President my senior year.
  9. I have been to ten different states (I hope I counted right).
  10. I call my kids by the wrong name all the time.  Bad planning on my part with all the Br's.  Sometimes it sounds like I'm saying Broon and Brick.

Dance, again

Hey how's it going?  I'm just staying at my mom's house in Riverton cause she and my family is in Minnesota for my brother's baby blessing.  So jealous.
We've got Mickey Mouse on and I am enjoying a little bit of peace while the twins sleep.
So I was just reading one of my favorites blogs.  It's a blog about this girl Brittany and her family.  She has twins too.  That's probably why I love it so much.  Another mom of twins.  I really love the pictures and the way she writes.
Anyway, today she was talking about dance.  It made me miss it all over again.  Now I haven't taken a class since 2006, but I always write that down as one of my hobbies.  I hope one day soon I can take a class and improve.  I have this dream of owning a dance studio.  I would run it with my many sisters and we would have so much fun.  I would love to have a little play room for all our kids to run around while we are there.  I would teach modern and jazz, Whit could do cheer and tumbling, Haley could do younger kids and a special needs class, and Sis and Bug could come and help out with all of it.  Doesn't that sound like so much fun?  I even have the name of the studio.
I think first, though, I need to work on my technique and flexibility a little bit.  That's where the dance class comes in and all the ones I find, I just don't want to drive forever, plus I don't know Utah County very well.  I get lost going to the Timpanogus Temple.  I hope I spelled that right.

What We Can Do in Five Minutes

This post is about what Braelee can do in five minutes.

She came in my room where I was on the computer and has me smell her hands. They smelled really good and couldn't figure out what type of lotion it was. I kept asking her to bring me the bottle. She never brought a bottle so I went to investigate. This is what I found.

I thought she was watching Toy Story 2. I guess not.

Any guesses as to what it is? Here's a hint:
My couch will never sweat again!

Scroll down to see...

Good thing it was almost empty anyway. My living room now smells really good. No need to light a candle today. Have a good day.

The Case of the Missing Toothbrushes

Last night, I walked into my bathroom to get ready for bed. I went to brush my teeth cause I usually do that first. I noticed both mine and Tyson's toothbrushes were gone.

At first I thought maybe he hid them cause he wanted to have a snack and he knew I would brush my teeth before we ate. I know that's kinda deep thinking. Anyway...

I opened the door and asked what happened to the toothbrushes. He thought I was joking and had to come see for himself.

So we put the puzzle pieces together. Braelee did something with them and she was asleep so we couldn't exactly ask her. Our first thought was the toilet. Thank goodness the toilets were empty of any toothbrushes.

We gave up and just pulled out our spares. I'm really glad we had them. So this morning when we got up, I asked her.

She would say things like, "Over there." and "In a bag." I figured she meant her new dance bag and sure enough, there they were. Of course I threw them away. They had hairs on it and I don't really want to know what happened to them before they got to the bag.
